Remuneration System

On November 26th, 2010, a resolution amending the General Provisions Applicable to brokerage firms was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation; that amending resolution forces the brokerage firms to implement, maintain and continuously review a Remuneration System which shall determine the policies and procedures for conducting regular and extraordinary wages to their employees or personnel who hold any office, mandate, commission or any other legal title that the brokerage firms had given for performing their operation so that the risk, assumed by employees and the personnel while acting on behalf of the brokerage firms and with de clients, in general, is balanced with the current and potential risk that brokerage firms are willing to take or are prepared to face.

Under the above, on February 21st, 2011, when the special meeting of the board of Evercore Casa de Bolsa, S.A. de C.V. was held, the implementation to the Remuneration System and the Manual which contains the policies and procedures of that System, were probed.
